Daniele Irandoost

Academic, Intelligence Community Expert

Author of 3 books and over 10 articles with a specialty emphasis in intelligence studies, surveillance studies, and philosophy of education.  

Daniele’s doctoral research is titled Public Oversight of the United Kingdom’s Investigatory Powers Bill: Lessons in Effective Oversight of Digital Surveillance for Intelligence Purposes Drawn from Comparative Cases in Southern Africa, which is part of a project funded by the British Academy, called Watching the Watchers: Strengthening Public Oversight of Intelligence.

He founded TEDxLambeth in 2019 and have curated a total of five events. TEDxLambeth has been sponsored by over 20 organizations and people. From 2021, I acted as event co-organizer for all four Nephilim Anthropology Conferences.

Daniele is a qualified teacher with a PGCE in History (secondary) from the University of Aberystwyth, and received a second master’s degree in the philosophy of education from the Institute of Education (IOE), University College London.

Daniele was awarded the “Ken Robertson Prize in Intelligence Studies” for highest mark and best performance at Aberystwyth University, and is a Fellow of the Society for Education and Training (FSET), and a Fellow of the Royal Anthropological Institute (FRAI).
